EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, diploma in Production/Foundry Engineering
  • Certified training for Casting Line In-Charge (programme aligned to ASC/Q 3207 released by Automotive Skill Development Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of the different types of cleaning techniques, casting processes and associated equipment
  • Familiarity with different tools and equipment being used for trimming and casting
  • Equipped with key safety aspects related to the casting and foundry industry
  • Proficiency in the different types of metallurgical processes
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments like vernier callipers, micrometres and other
  • Knowledge of the effect of Operators work on casting quality
  • Ability to validate the process requirement of the casting process
  • Ability to monitor the end-to-end casting process in the line
  • Ability to monitor the final product quality
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of geometry and drawing
  • Training in latest casting techniques available in the market, working of presses and dies, 5S and safety aspects, quality management systems, IT and ERP awareness
  • High precision skills
