The tasks a Casting Technician Sand Moulding is expected to perform include:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  •  Preferably, ITI graduate 
  •  Certified training for Casting Technician Sand Moulding(programme aligned to ASC/Q 3205 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

  • Skilled in understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches
  • Skilled in understanding the processes and equipment requirement to complete a task
  • Proficiency in preparing the machine (apparatus) and auxiliaries
  • Efficient in performing sand making-related operations
  • Skilled in monitoring the process parameters
  • Proficiency in performing the core making-related operations
  • Familiarity with conducting quality checks and inspection of the finished products
  • Skilled in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment at the workplace
  • Knowledge of maintaining 5s in the work premises
  • Knowledge of the latest technological advancements

  • Knowledge of the latest sand mould preparation technology and sand casting techniques & methodologies
