JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Hardware Engineer is expected to perform include:

  • Designing, developing and testing computer hardware
  • Ensuring the installation of computer systems, chips, circuit boards and peripherals

  • Local travelling is not a part of this job role

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science Engineering
  • Certified training for Hardware Engineer (programme aligned to SSC/ Q 4701 released by IT-ITeS SSC NASSCOM)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of the different sources of information and reference materials for creating documents
  • Well-versed in the different styles used in documents
  • Proficient in the different ways of structuring documents and how to select the best structure for the agreed content
  • Knowledge of how to make corrections to documents for common editorial problems and errors
  • Knowledge of change management procedures including version control and approvals
  • Competency on how to use document preparation tools including Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • Certificate in Computer Hardware Engineering
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Ability to handle pressure
