JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Hardware Engineer is expected to perform include:

Designing, developing and testing computer hardware

Ensuring the installation of computer systems, chips, circuit boards and peripherals

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Preferably, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science Engineering
Certified training for Hardware Engineer (programme aligned to SSC/ Q 4701 released by IT-ITeS SSC NASSCOM)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of the different sources of information and reference materials for creating documents

Well-versed in the different styles used in documents

Proficient in the different ways of structuring documents and how to select the best structure for the agreed content

Knowledge of how to make corrections to documents for common editorial problems and errors

Knowledge of change management procedures including version control and approvals

Competency on how to use document preparation tools including Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES ¹

Certificate in Computer Hardware Engineering
Ability to work in teams
Ability to handle pressure
