JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Kitting and Labelling Executive is expected to perform include:

Preparing and performing kitting and labelling activities
Obtaining information required for kitting
Making space and cleaning up the kitting area
Gathering, identifying, receiving and verifying components/missing components
Collecting sealed kits, labels and moving them
Carrying out post-kitting and labelling activities like housekeeping and reporting to management

WORK ENVIRONMENT ²

It is not a desk job
Work from home is not available
Part-time work is not available
Travelling is not required
The job does not involve team handling

Working hours

Working is generally 5/6 days a week and a minimum of 8 hours a day
Some organizations require staff to work in shifts including nights

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Minimum – Preferably 10^th standard pass
Certified training for Kitting and Labelling Executive (programme aligned to LSC/Q2304 released by Logistics Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of the types of products to be kitted
Knowledge of the quantity and types of components and the variations for each product
Knowledge of the unique characteristics of products such as hazards, method to be used, etc.
Knowledge of quick fixes for minor issues

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES ¹

Understanding the coding followed for labelling

EXPECTED EARNINGS ⁷
