The tasks a Commentary Writer is expected to perform include:

Writing commentary to describe visuals of motion picture

Studying general background of material to be commented upon

Reading script and seeing film to understand theme

Writing commentary to interpret or describe each event

Using literary acumen to make commentary more meaningful

Infusing emotional effect in writing to suit mood and tempo of visual

WORK ENVIRONMENT

It is a desk job

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is a part of this job

Part-time work and contractual jobs maybe available

Working hours

Media and Entertainment companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company
