The tasks a Director, Storage and Warehousing is expected to perform include:

Planning, organizing and controlling the storage and warehousing activities
Arranging facilities of transport and communication

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ²

Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in any stream

KEY COMPETENCIES ³

Ability to co-ordinate inbound and/or outbound activities
Knowledge of safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programmes
Knowledge of how to maintain accurate inventory and productivity levels
Detailed knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems
Detailed knowledge of logistics, storage and warehouse management
