JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks aGeneral Manager, Transportis expected to perform include:

  • Supervising, co-ordinating and controlling efficient utilization of men, money and material in public or private organizations
  • Exercising delegated authority over one or more departments, branches or sections engaged in transporting passengers and freight
  • Overseeing departments such as railways, tramways, buses, trucks, taxis, rickshaws, boats, launchers, ships, aircrafts, etc.
  • Undertaking and operating other services incidental to transport
WORK ENVIRONMENT 1

  • Need to handle a team of drivers and helpers
  • Local travelling is a part of this job role
