• Proficient in ensuring that equipment is safe and ready to use by checking electrical connections, power return and earthing arrangements, etc.
• Knowledge of procedures to check adherence to specifications and quality standards of equipment like vernier, calliper, screw gauge, etc.
• Proficient in reading and understanding engineering and tools drawings
• Knowledge of causes of common problems during assembly and their remedies
• Proficient in compilation of test results in prescribed format
• Well-versed with units of measurement
• Proficient in responding to emergencies life power failure, fire and system failure
