JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks a Graduating Machine Operator (Glass) is expected to perform include:
  • Setting and operating the graduating machine to scratch measurements on wax-coated glass measuring appliances or apparatus
  • Placing the apparatus in position on the machine
  • Calculating gear combinations to obtain the specified graduating intervals on the apparatus , and setting the machine accordingly
  • Starting and operating the machine to cut or scratch graduations on apparatus 
WORK ENVIRONMENT 
  • It needs one to be on their feet
  • Need not handle a team
  • Local travelling is not a part of this job
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities
  • Work from home option is not available
Working hours
  • Factories usually work for 6 days a week and 8/10 hours every day. This may vary from factory to factory
  • Shift system maybe available
