JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Cutter, Paper is expected to perform include:

Cutting the paper or cardboard sheets to the desired size on the cutting machine
Adjusting the guides on the scale to obtain the specified length of sheet
Cleaning and oiling the machine

WORK ENVIRONMENT ²

It requires physical activity
Need not handle a team
Local travelling is not a part of this job role
Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities
Work from home option is not available

Working hours

Working hours are 10/12 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week
Shift system maybe available

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ⁴

Preferably, 12^th pass

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of placing the sheets against the guide and pressing the lever to force the knife blade through the sheets
Proficient in turning the stack, resets, guides and cutting the sheets breadthwise
Well-versed in cleaning and oiling the machine
Knowledge of the different types of knives used
Dexterity of hands

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES

Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team
