Cleaning the metal by dipping it in specified acid and rinsing the metal with water
Ensuring good quality cleaning as per the specifications

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Certified training for Acid Cleaner (Metalware) (programme aligned to HCS/Q3001 job released by Handicrafts & Carpet Sector Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of variety of metalware and their basic quality
Knowledge of material movement and stocking procedure
Basic knowledge of types of acids used for metalware
Knowledge of the chemical properties of the acids
Basic knowledge of inventory management
