JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Courier Pick-up Executive is expected to perform include:

Collecting packages from the corporate customer's doorstep
Completing the paperwork
Delivering the package to the local collection centre
Preparing air waybills and informing customers of different products and services of the company

WORK ENVIRONMENT ¹

It is a field job
Need not handle a team
Local travelling is required

Working hours

Companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company

Minimum – Class X (preferable)
Certified training for Courier Pick-up Executive (programme aligned to LSC/Q3024 job released by Logistics Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of types of shipment being handled
Basic knowledge of operating a computer
Knowledge of different state taxes and other regulatory aspects
Knowledge of air waybills
Skilled in using the GPS and other tracking/navigation devices
Knowledge of traffic rules that need to be followed

Training in driving vehicles
