EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Minimum – Class X
Certified training for Goods Packaging Machine Operator (programme aligned to LSC/Q2216 job released by Logistics Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES

Knowledge of controls and parameters that need to be set to operate the packaging machine
Knowledge of possible packaging machine problems and solutions
Knowledge of packing materials that can be used for different products
Ability to judge damaged items
Knowledge of how to use packaging equipment such as cartoners, tray packer, blister packer, over wrappers, etc.
