Minimum – Class X
Certified training for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Maintenance Technician (programme aligned to LSC/Q2315 job released by Logistics Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Basic knowledge of physics and mechanics associated with the MHE
Knowledge of road signs, factory signs and other safety and emergency signals
Knowledge of correct maintenance procedures for MHE
Knowledge of all the MHE components and their functions
Ability to handle MHE such as forklifts, pallet trucks, cages and lifts

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES ¹

Trained in operating and maintaining MHE
