JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Reach Truck Operator is expected to perform include:

Operating reach truck to assist in warehouse operations such as transporting material from staging area to storage racks, and moving items from storage racks to picking areas
Assisting in inventory counts

WORK ENVIRONMENT ¹

Need not handle a team
Local travelling is not a part of this job profile

Working hours

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Minimum – Middle school (Class VIII)
Certified training for Reach Truck Operator (programme aligned to LSC/Q2111 job released by Logistics Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of basic physics and mechanics involved in using the reach truck
Knowledge of logistics management concepts such as First-In-First-Out (FIFO), etc.
Familiar with road signs, factory signs and other safety and emergency signals
Familiar with basic maintenance procedures for reach truck

Trained in operating and handling the reach truck
