JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Nails Trainer is expected to perform include:

  • Preparing and maintaining the work area 
  • Preparing, developing and delivering nail care training programme 
  • ​Supporting and coaching the participants 
  • Managing and leading a team of subordinates 
  • Providing nail care services like nail art application, nail enhancement, ​nail wrap, airbrush nail design, ​electric filing, refilling, gel polish application, manicure, pedicure, etc.

  • Need to handle a team of subordinates 
  • Local travelling is not​ a part of this job role
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, 12th
  • Certified training for Nails Trainer (programme aligned to BWS/Q0404 released by Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Ability to prepare and maintain the work area 
  • Well-versed in performing manicure, pedicure, nail wrap, ​nail art application, ​airbrush nail art, ​​​​​electric filing, ​refilling, gel polish application, etc. 
  • Proficient in performing nail enhancement and overlay using liquid and powder (acrylic) or UV gel 
  • Competent to prepare, develop and deliver nail care training programme 
  • Well-versed in supporting and coaching the participants 
  • ​Ability to manage and lead a team of subordinates 
  • ​Detailed knowledge of the structure, function, characteristics of nail and skin types and process of nail growth
  • Knowledge of nail ailments​
  • Knowledge of products, tools and equipment suitable to carry the procedure of acrylic nail enhancement
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology and pathology for nail treatments
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • ​Certified training for Level 5 Senior Nail Technician 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Communication skills
