JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Cosmetic Dermatology Trainer is expected to perform include:

  • Planning, developing and delivering cosmetic dermatology training programme
  • Managing and leading a team
  • Coaching and supporting the participants 
  • Performing various treatments and services like epilation, cosmetic skin peel, micro-pigmentation, facial electrotherapy​, etc.​

  • It is not a desk job
  • Need to handle a team of professionals and helpers 
  • Local travelling is not a part of this job role
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available
  • Work from home option is not available

Working hour

  • Organizations usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from organization to organization
  • Shift system may be available
  • Overtime is not required

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, 12th
  • Certified training for Cosmetic Dermatology Trainer (programme aligned to BWS/Q0503 released by Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council)​
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • ​​​Ability to prepare and maintain the work area 
  • ​Well-versed in planning, developing and delivering cosmetic ​dermatology training programme 
  • ​Competent to support and coach the participants 
  • ​Ability to manage and lead a team of professionals and helpers 
  • ​Experienced to perform various treatments and services like facial electrotherapy​, micro-dermabrasion, epilation services​, cosmetic skin peel treatment, micro-pigmentation, laser and light treatment, etc. ​​​
  • Detailed knowledge of chemistry of hair, beauty products, dermatology and physiology of aging
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • Decision-making skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills 
  • Level 5 Senior Cosmetic Dermatology Technician certificate holder 
  • Diploma in beauty therapy​
