The tasks an Advance Pattern Maker (CAD/CAM) expected to perform includes:  

  • Recreating pattern design techniques by transferring ideas to the computer
  • Digitizing and modifying patterns using CAM
  • Generating design patterns
  • Acquiring patterns cut out in the actual sizes

  • Certified course in Advance Pattern Maker (CAD/CAM) (programme aligned to AMH/Q1101 released by Apparel Made Up’s and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Training in CAD/CAM
  • Equipped in garment construction techniques and processes
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM operating system
  • Knowledge of principles of the CAD/CAM systems
  • Proficient in process of modelling and testing using CAD
  • Equipped in grading using CAD
  • Capable of lay planning with accuracy
