JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Marketing and Social Media Manager is expected to perform include:

  • Designing the branding and marketing activities of the dealership 
  • Co-ordinating with the sales and marketing departments of OEM
  • Developing and executing marketing plans for the promotion of the dealership 
  • Managing social media strategies

  • Certified training for Marketing and Social Media Manager (programme aligned to ASC/ Q1110 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Skilled in formulating and executing marketing strategies for the promotion of the dealership
  • Ability to design and manage marketing activities including those through social media
  • Efficient in conducting and assisting in market research surveys to gather customer insight
  • Proficient in implementing the overall social media strategy
  • Ability to co-ordinate with the various internal departments and divisions
  • Efficient in monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of the strategies
  • Proficient in assigning or allocating budgets for promotional activities
  • Skilled in planning and implementing various local promotional activities to achieve the sales volume
  • Knowledge of the latest technological advancements
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • On-the-job training is desirable for ASDC Marketing and Social Media Manager certificate holders
  • Ability to work independently
