JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Coating, Curing and Marking Operator is expected to perform include:

  • Spraying zinc or aluminium oxide coating on the capacitor
  • Coating the resistor with acrylic or silicon material
  • Checking the components visually for even spread of coat/spray and any defects
  • Curing the component in furnace or oven for stabilizing​
  • Marking or printing specifications on the outer finished surface of the component​

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, 10th/12th
  • Certified training for Coating, Curing and Marking Operator (programme aligned to ELE/Q0110 released by Electronics Sector Skills Council)​
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Familiarity with different types of coating processes, materials, their properties and implications
  • Proficiency in basic programming, setting up and loading of the machines
  • Familiarity with types, properties and handling of various raw materials used for the process
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and machines for component preparation
  • Knowledge of different types of resistors and capacitors, their properties and application
  • Proficiency in testing various parameters of capacitors, resistors and variance
  • Knowledge of FIFO system of inventory control
  • Skilled in maintaining various tools and equipment used during component preparation
  • Computer literacy and ability to maintain logs, read job sheets, production schedules and operations manuals​
