The tasks a Helper - Finishing (Leather Goods & Garments) is expected to perform include:

  • Assisting the operators to carry out activities

  • Minimum – Class V
  • Certified training for Helper - Finishing (Leather Goods & Garments) (programme aligned to LSS/Q6201 released by Leather Sector Skill Council)

  • Knowledge of how to obtain replacements for faulty tools
  • Well-versed with various materials used for supporting finishing operations
  • Proficient in equipment operating procedures
  • Well-versed with the design of the products currently being produced
