JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Cluster Manager is expected to perform include:

Providing uninterrupted infra services to operators in cluster
Ensuring that high up-time per tower is maintained
Ensuring optimum utilization of resources
Efficiently reducing energy and operational costs
Providing technical and safety training to the team

WORK ENVIRONMENT

It needs one to be on their toes
Need to handle a team
Travelling is a part of the job
Part-time and contractual jobs are not available

Working hours

Working is 8/9 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from company to company

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Minimum – Preferably ITI graduate/Diploma in technical degree
Certified training for Cluster Manager (programme aligned to TEL TEL/Q4102 released by Telecom Sector Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Proficient in navigation of intranet tools for obtaining repair requests and budget approval
Knowledge of latest passive infra technologies and equipment like DG, PIU, battery banks, etc.
Well-versed with energy-related computations and new energy initiatives
Knowledge of general engineering concepts
Well-versed with site equipment operations and maintenance
Well-versed with safety procedures to be followed on site
Knowledge of pre-defined SLA and up-time from all mobile operators
Knowledge of all system components/modules

Training in leadership skills
