JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Nuclear Engineer is expected to perform include:

Conducting research in problems of nuclear energy systems
Designing and developing nuclear equipment
Monitoring, testing, operating and maintaining nuclear reactors
Modifying known nuclear theories concerning release, control and utilization of nuclear energy
Developing new concepts of thermonuclear analysis and new uses of radioactive processes
Preparing technical reports

The candidate will supervise a team of Engineers, Plant Floor Workers and Technicians
Local travelling is a part of this job role

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ³

Preferably, Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering

Skilled in designing and building new plants and equipment
Skilled in monitoring and measuring radiation levels
Efficient in carrying out maintenance work
Proficient in ensuring plant structure compliance with legislation
Efficient in maintaining security and safety at the plant level
Efficient in supervising power station technicians
Knowledge of safe methods of disposing nuclear waste
