JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks an Assembly Operator (Telephone Equipment Manufacturing) is expected to perform include:

Assembling finished components of telephones, switches, relays, etc.

Finalizing assemblies by soldering, screwing, painting and other minor machine operations to form complete unit

Feeding Bakelite case to conveyor belt, fixing cards to dial and putting capline screws on key plate
-
Preparing, checking and fixing ringer coils, magnetizes magnet road, assembles bell hammer and base plate
-
Assembling and linking terminals, fixing ringer assembly, induction coil, condenser and dial block to base plate and wires and soldering tag block

Setting tag block to base plate

Fixing receiver, card, etc. and making necessary fittings, adjustments and electrical connection to form complete unit

- Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

| Working hours- Electronics companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company
