JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks an Electronics Engineer is expected to perform include:
  • Researching, developing, designing, and testing electronic components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, and scientific applications
  • Designing electronic circuits, components and integrated systems
  • Designing test control apparatus and equipment
  • Determining procedures for testing products
  • Developing new applications of conductive properties of metallic and non-metallic materials
  • Directing field operations and maintenance of electronic installations
  • Evaluating operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of
malfunctions

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 2

  • It is not a desk job

  • Need to handle a team

  • Local travelling is a part of this job role

  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

  • Work from home option is not available

Working hours

  • Electronics companies usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company

  • Shift system maybe available

  • Being self-employed is an option. In this case the working hours and days are flexible

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 3

Minimum – Bachelor’s in Electronics

  • Well-versed in designing electronic circuits, components and integrated systems
  • Proficient with developing new applications
  • Knowledge of maintaining electronic installations
  • Proficiency in identifying malfunctions of electronic equipment
