JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Director Communication is expected to perform include:

  • Planning, organising, co-ordinating and controlling one or more departments/branches engaged in providing various communication services
  • Overseeing within delegated authority the activities of departments engaged in postal, telephone, telegraph wireless and other communication services
WORK ENVIRONMENT 2
  • It is a desk job
  • The role involves handling large teams and business units
  • Travelling maybe required especially when there are multiple branches
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are not available

Working hours
  • Work is for 5 days a week and minimum 8/9 hours every day

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 6

Minimum – Graduation/Post graduation in telecom management or its equivalent, BE/B-Tech/MS/MBA

  • Expertise in directing others on the selection, acquisition and maintenance of accurate, cost-effective telecom products
  • Working knowledge of planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating activities of public or private organisation
  • Working knowledge of managing operations and the affairs of the entire business
  • Adept in of managing and overseeing research, evaluation and implementation of technologies
  • Expertise in determining the overall technology and development strategy of the organisation
