JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks that a Director, Lodging and Catering Services is expected to perform include:

  • Organizing and supervising, within authority delegated, efficient utilization of resources in public or private organization which is engaged in preparing and serving food and beverages, etc.
  • Implementing company policies
  • Developing strategic plans
  • Attending meetings 
  • Reporting to the Board of Directors or Members
  • Maintaining a dialogue between Shareholders and the board
  • Controlling finance
  • Overseeing Senior Management Staff
  • Building and maintaining an effective management team
  • Co-ordinating with department heads
WORK ENVIRONMENT 1, 2
  • It is not a desk job
  • The candidate will handle a team of Senior Management Executives
  • Travelling is not involved
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are not available
  • Work from home option is not available
Working hours
  • The individual usually works for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. Institutions remains open and functional for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
  • Shift system is available
