JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Sales Supervisor, Wholesale Trade is expected to perform include:

  • Supervising wholesale business of any commodity in a particular area of specified zone
  • Contacting businessmen and taking stock of available business in the area
  • Directing Area Salesmen to contact prospective retail businessmen
  • Advising Stockists and Distributors to supply goods as required and maintaining registers of the sales effected
  • Informing head office of market trends and of defects or complaints
  • Suggesting improvements to avoid adverse effects on business
  • Submitting prescribed returns and reporting performance of subordinates to head office

  • It is a field job
  • The candidate will supervise a team of Sales Assistants
  • Travelling is necessary
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available in some cities
