JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks a Director, Gas is expected to perform include:
  • Heading the organization supported by more than one managers
  • Determining, planning, organizing, and controlling activities of public or private organizations or enterprises 
  • Managing one or more of its departments, sections or branches, engaged in manufacturing of gas
  • Handling distribution and supply of gas to consumers
  • Controlling the production and supply of steam for heat and power
WORK ENVIRONMENT 
  • It requires one to be on their toes
  • Need to handle a team
  • Local travelling is a part of this job role
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities
  • Work from home option is not available
Working hours
  • Factories usually work for 6 days a week and 8/10 hours everyday. This may vary from factory to factory
  • Shift system maybe available
  • Being self-employed is also an option. In this case the working hours and days are flexible

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 2

Minimum - CA/ACA, ACCA qualified or MBA

  • Ability to analyze all aspects of a natural gas business arrangement
