JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks an Art Teacher is expected to perform include:

  • Instructing school students in art subjects such as drawing and painting
  • Demonstrating methods and techniques of using drawing materials such as brushes, scale, pencils and colours
  • Instructing in model drawing and painting of objects, landscapes, plant life, murals, etc.
  • Observing the work of pupils and making corrections
  • Organizing art exhibitions and visiting museums, art galleries and places of artistic interest​

  • Local travelling is a part of this job role
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available

Preferably, Master’s in fine arts

  • Skilled in using all the drawing, painting and sketching related equipment such as pencils, brushes, colours, etc.
