JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Health, Safety and Environment Officer is expected to perform include:

  • Applying theory and principles of environmental engineering and occupational health and safety at the work site to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Protecting the surrounding environment that may be impacted by the pollutants and other hazardous substances
  • Improving employee relations and productivity
  • Minimizing business risk through the identification and elimination/minimization of environmental, health and safety risks​
