JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a House Agent is expected to perform include:

  • Assisting house owners and tenants in renting out and securing accommodation on commission basis
  • Contacting house owners of vacant houses, flats, shops, etc., and contacting prospective tenants
  • Obtaining details regarding the accommodations available, rent, etc., and informing the clients about the same
  • Publicizing accommodation available for lease or rent
  • Taking the clients to the site and showing them the available accommodation
  • Negotiating between the house owners and prospective tenant, and helping them arrive at an agreeable price 
  • Collecting rent and managing property on behalf of clients if so agreed
WORK ENVIRONMENT 1, 2
  • It is a field job
  • Need not handle a team
  • Local travelling is a part of this job role
  • Part-time work and contractual jobs are available
  • Work from home option is not available
Working hours
  • Organizations usually work for 5/6 days a week and 8/9 hours everyday. This may vary from organization to organization
  • Shift system may be available
