JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Machineman, Hand Printing is expected to perform include:

Operating the cylinder or platen hand press for printing
Fixing the imposed type on the bed of the printing machine and levelling them
Checking up the supply of ink in the duct, adjusting the roller parts, changing the packing (paper lining) and running the machine for printing

WORK ENVIRONMENT ²

It needs one to be on their toes

Local travelling is a part of this job role
Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities
Work from home option is not available

Working hours

Working hours are 10/12 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from company to company
