JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Checker (Ceramics) is expected to perform include:

  • Examining pottery and porcelain ware by touch and sight at different stages of production
  • Rejecting defective pieces
  • Classifying goods according to their quality

  • It requires one to be on their feet
  • May need to handle a team of helpers

Working hours
  • Handicraft and carpet units usually work for 6 days a week and 8/10 hours everyday. This may vary from unit to unit

Minimum – Diploma in Ceramic Engineering
