JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks an Agarbati Maker is expected to perform include:
Making scented agarbatis to give pleasant fragrance when lit
Collecting thin bamboo splints of required size
Mixing saw dust, gum and coloured powder of desired shade in specified quantities with water to make thick pulp
Adding scent or sandalwood powder to the pulp for desired fragrance
Rolling splints with required quantity of pulp on wooden plank smeared with thin oil
Preventing the pulp from sticking to plank
Removing pulp-coated splints and drying them in sun
Packing dried sticks in convenient packets
Gathering dried sticks into bundles of desired weight or number with trade labels wrapped for sale
WORK ENVIRONMENT 2
It needs one to be on their toes
Need not handle a team
Local travelling is not a part of this job role
Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities
Work from home option is not available
Working hours
Factories usually work for 6 days a week and 8/10 hours everyday. This may vary from factory to factory
Being self-employed is also an option. In this case, the working hours and days will be flexible 
Shift system maybe available
