JOB DESCRIPTION 1
The tasks a Web Designer is expected to perform include:
Providing strategic and sustainable aesthetic to the website that supports business goals, information architecture, customer service applications and brand strategy
Driving visual recommendations and solutions to both current page type and future redesign efforts
Translating complex concepts into convincing and compelling visualisations
Creating original graphics and icons for use on the site and other group projects
Defining and implementing web design parameters, style guides and visual standards
Establishing and producing graphic material for use in online advertising
Promoting services and products
Building strong collaborative relationships with team and client
Documenting strategic decisions using diagrams and text
Documenting design and creation
Hand-drawing and designing forms where needed
Manipulating images, styling photos, providing art direction and acquiring photos

It is a desk job

May need to handle a team

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Work from home option is also available

Working hours

Organizations usually work for 5/6 days a week and 9/10 hours everyday. This may vary from organization to organization

Being self-employed is also an option. In this case, the working hours and days will be flexible

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 5

Preferably, Bachelor's in any specialisation

Ability to design for a variety of platforms including web browsers

Well-versed with different parameters of web designing

Ability to determine look and feel of a website

Knowledge of online advertising
