Performing various duties such as manicure and pedicure
Assisting the nail technician in providing advanced nail care services such as nail art, nail enhancement, nail tips, etc.

Working hours are 8/9 hours a day for 6 days a week. This may vary from salon to salon

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING ¹

Preferably, 8^th with ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Certified training for Assistant Nail Technician (programme aligned to BWS/Q0401 released by Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of types of products, materials and equipment required for the treatment
Skilled in process to sterilize and disinfect equipment/tools
Knowledge of the structure and function of the skin
Basic knowledge of bone structure
Knowledge of nail diseases and disorders
Knowledge of nail and skin analysis by visual/manual examination
Skilled in pedicure and manicure techniques

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES ¹

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good hand-eye co-ordination
Customer-oriented
