The tasks a Junior Mechanic (Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation) is expected to perform include: 
  • Assisting in repairing and maintaining electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies
  • Ensuring equipment’s optimum functioning

  • Minimum – Preferably Class VIII 
  • Certified training for Junior Mechanic (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation) (programme aligned to IES/Q1106 job released by Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of various components of electrical/electronic/instrumentation systems
  • Familiar with techniques to read and interpret electrical/electronic/instrumentation circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge of specification and grades of lubricants
  • Skilled in usage of the control panel
