JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Dip Solution Preparation Operator is expected to perform include:

  • Preparing the dip solution, which can be used for dipping cord or woven fabric
  • Performing solution mixing operation in the mixer unit
  • Weighing each ingredient and ensuring compliance to the allowable tolerance limits
  • Loading ingredients in the right sequence as per instructions
  • Monitoring temperature and flow metre
  • Setting timer for agitation
  • Drawing sample for testing and release for next operation
  • Carrying out housekeeping, reporting, documentation and quality checks

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, ​10th/ITI graduate 
  • Certified training for Dip Solution Preparation Operator (programme aligned to RSC/Q1001 released by Rubber Skill Development Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of adjusting temperature of chiller water for main mixer
  • Knowledge of checking the hardness of water
  • In-depth knowledge of tolerance levels of parameters such as temperature, water harness and pH levels
  • Equipped to operate the valves and traps on the mixers
