JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks an Emulsion Maker is expected to perform include:

  • Producing various emulsions for latex product compounding as per the given formulation
  • Adding ingredients in a sequential manner as per the formulation
  • Managing temperature control during mixing
  • Ensuring proper dilution of the emulsions for the required total solids
  • Following the standard operating procedures for machine and emulsion making
  • Testing the compatibility and stability of emulsions

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, ​10th/ITI graduate 
  • Certified training for Emulsion Maker (programme aligned to RSC/Q1701 released by Rubber Skill Development Council)
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Equipped to properly weigh rubber latex ingredients
  • Knowledge of functioning of emulsion machine and its operation
  • Equipped to adjust emulsion pH close to latex pH
  • Knowledge of tolerance levels for various parameters such as water hardness and pH

  • Training in operation of tools/machines used for emulsion preparation
