JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks an Assistant Designer - Home Furnishing is expected to perform include:

  • Certified training for Assistant Designer - Home Furnishing (programme aligned to AMH/Q 1220 released by Apparel, Made–Ups and Home Furnishing)​​​
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • ​​​​Ability to research on the recent trends in home furnishing and developing designs accordingly 
  • ​Knowledge of selecting the appropriate fabric, trim and accessory based on the product requirement 
  • Proficient in creating techpack and proto sample 
  • ​​Well-versed with reviewing the design development process 
  • Ability to maintain complete documentation for the design development process
DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
  • Ability to work under high pressure
  • Good hand-eye co-ordination​
  • Time management skills ​
  • Certificates/diploma in garmenting or textile
