JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a Assistant Designer - Madeups is expected to perform include:

  • Planning and preparing design ​collection for textile products

  • Evaluating the design development process

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
    • Preferably, 12th
    • Certified training for Assistant Designer - Madeups (programme aligned to AMH/Q 1230 released by Apparel, Made–Ups and Home Furnishing)​​​​​
    KEY COMPETENCIES 1
    • ​​​​Ability to research on the recent trends in textile products and developing designs accordingly 
    • ​Knowledge of selecting the appropriate fabric, trim and accessory based on the product requirement 
    • Proficient in creating techpack and proto sample  ​
    • ​​Well-versed with reviewing the design development process 
    • Ability to maintain complete documentation for the design development process​
    DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES 1
    • Certificates/diploma in made-ups or textile​
    • Good communication skills
    • Team management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
