The tasks an Online Sample Designer​ is expected to perform include:​​

  • ​Planning and preparing the designs for products to be displayed online 
  • ​Developing proto sample for the designs ​
  • ​Evaluating the proto sample ​and the design development process

  • ​​It is a desk job

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, diploma/degree in textile/fashion/garment
  • Certified training for Online Sample Designer (programme aligned to AMH/Q 1215 released by Apparel, Made–Ups and Home Furnishing)​​
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of different types of accessories, trims, fabrics and their trade names like poly-cotton, silk, organza, etc.​​
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics 
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Photoshop, presentation techniques, website handling, etc.​
  • Detailed understanding and working knowledge of sewing process and pattern-making​​
  • Abi​lity to evaluate design development process ​
