JOB DESCRIPTION 1

The tasks a SCM Executive is expected to perform include:

  • Monitoring operations of warehouses and supplies at storage locations and facilities
  • Assisting in negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers​, verifying their capabilities and analysing their performance 
  • Assisting in streamlining various functions of supply chain management
  • Providing analytical support for supply chain management
  • Co-ordinating with Manager and team members for efficient supply chain management
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and exchange of information for licensing purposes​​
  • Maintaining reports and documentation

  • May need to han​​dle a team
  • Local travelling is not a part of this ​job role

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 1
  • Preferably, BBA/B.Tech./B.Sc. in a related discipline
  • Certified training for SCM Executive (programme aligned to LFS/Q0610 released by Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council)​
KEY COMPETENCIES 1
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, operations and business
  • Well-versed in all the topics covered in the APICS CPIM/CSCP certification
  • Proficient in using database, spreadsheet, statistics and logistics software packages
  • Knowledge of working and use of ERP platforms
  • Proficient in using an integrated planning tool such as SAP SCM
  • Knowledge of legal and contracting procedures​
