JOB DESCRIPTION ¹

The tasks a Computer, Topographical, Computer Geodetic is expected to perform include:

• Computing topographical data received from survey parties in connection with figure, shape and structure of earth for mapping

• Computing value of control points (longitudes and latitudes) established on ground

• Guiding survey parties to detect possible errors in establishing control points or triangulations of certain location

WORK ENVIRONMENT ¹

• It is a field job

• May need to handle a team

• Local travelling is a part of this job role

• Part-time work and contractual jobs maybe available

• Work from home option is not available

Working hours

• Working hours are 9/11 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week

• Shift system maybe available

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

• Proficiency in carrying out calculations using mathematical forms and tables, concerning geographical field

• Knowledge of geomagnetism, gravity reduction tidal analysis and prediction, etc.

• Proficiency in working out and fixing triangulation of points

• Well-versed with computing value of control points (longitudes and latitudes)

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES ¹

Knowledge of using and constructing mathematical table
